Hailing from a long lineage of large luxurious Rolls-Royces, the current Ghost model is spiritually connected to the original 1906 ‘40/50 H.P Silver Ghost. In the early 1900s, it was given this nickname for its unparalleled silence on the road.
In 2009 is when Rolls-Royce brought the namesake back, aiming it at a younger audience that didn't quite need the size of the Phantom and would appreciate a turbo-charged V12 engine. Over the next decade the Ghost would remain largely the same, in 2014 receiving a facelift dubbed the ‘Series ll’ which added improved LED headlights and additional rear seat comfort.
In 2020, Rolls-Royce announced an all-new ghost, built on a refreshed and more luxurious chassis. This new generation also gained an all-wheel-drive system for the first time, all-wheel-steer, and the ‘Planar’ Suspension system. In addition to the mechanical improvements, Rolls-Royce offered the famous starlight headliner for the first time on the Ghost as well.
Presented here, by Animoya Garage, is a 2021 Rolls-Royce Ghost just showing just 8,300 miles from new and remains in near perfect condition. This Ghost is finished in the stunning shade of Midnight Sapphire over a Seashell with Navy interior.
This particular Ghost was delivered to Rolls-Royce Motorcars Raleigh, in North Carolina on April 28th in 2021. It was desirably specified with over $60,000 options such as the ‘Ghost’ package which is $31,000 on its own and includes lambswool floor mats, “Ghost” branded treadplates, rear theatre configuration, illuminated grille, shooting star headliner, and RR monograms to all headrests. Additional bespoke options include uplit spirit of ecstasy, colored steering wheel, chrome plated exhausts, and picnic tables.
The Ghost would remain in North Carolina for 3 years while being driven infrequently before being sold to its current owner and consignor in 2024. Over the next two years the car was driven regularly on nice days and routine maintenance was kept up and carried out by Suburban Exotic Motorcars of Michigan, in Troy, MI. Additionally, the car currently has PPF on the front bumper as well as a ceramic coating which was done at the dealership prior to the first sale.
